“Skulling on Schuylkill River”

For the month of January, 2015 we traveled to Philadelphia, PA. I used “Google Street View” to find a scene similar to one painted by the great American Painter, “Thomas Eakins”. One of his favorite subject matters was rowers on the Schuylkill River. Wish I could paint half as well as him, but I had fun doing this little painting of a single skuller on the river.
